Nokia X, one of the most anticipated smart phone of the year launched a month ago. Nokia's 'X' series smart phones are something that no tech blogger has never even thought possible. Especially after Nokia-Microsoft deal. But surprisingly, Nokia has heard the wishes of millions of users around the world and launched the Nokia's X series, which is Nokia's first android device.
Nokia's 'X' series phones stand between inexpensive Asha devices and High End Lumia devices. It is actually a bridge between these 2 devices which will give you access to Asha's smart-lane service and high end Lumia services like Mix Radio and Here Maps.
Nokia X runs on "Nokia X software platform 1" which is a forked android based on Google's Android 4.4.2 Jellybean AOSP project. Nokia X can run most of the android apps. It doesn't come with Google services like Google maps, Gmail, Playstore etc. out of the box. But they can be installed later via third party app store.
